Pictures from the salt mine

As promised in an earlier entry, here are some pictures from the salt mine in Krakow. The first two are from the grand chapel, which is completely carved in salt – even the chandeliers!

The following pictures show the delicious 4-course meal we were served at the end of our tour of the mine, some 125 m. below the surface. I was very impressed by this dinner, since my previous experiences from Polish food has been quite tasteless (boiled meat and the like). This was quite delicate and spicy, yet at least partly traditional.
