From now on, visitors to Emerging Communications should have no problem finding their way here even from a foreign computer. There is no longer the need for memorizing the usual long address, since I have invested in a new domain, www.emergingcommunications.net, from which I redirect to my old one. I wanted the .com address, but that would have been MUCH more expensive. Anyhow, I feel really excited to finally have my own domain!

The International Society for Presence Research website seems to be a very valuable resource. From a quick look I get the feeling that much is centered around VR (as is very often the case when it comes to presence), but even so I think that participating in the mailing list and looking out for news on the website will be a good way of trying to keep up to date. They also have a list of presence researchers, some of which have included links to their own project pages, plus a long list of shorter abstracts to articles or web pages dealing with the subject (”Examples”).
