I am the director of HUMlab which is an exciting meeting place for the humanities, art, culture and new technology at Umeå University in Sweden. I am interested in intersections of thinking and large-scale structures. I do work on the role of the humanities in the 21st century, computer games, educational technology, visualization, affordances of virtual environments, mapping and interdisciplinarity. I have been diagnosed as sprawling (when defending my Ph.D. I think) and this blog hopefully reflects that sprawliness.
