One of the best things about having having the new postdocs come through HUMlab is the energy they bring to the lab. Right now a large group of them are above the polar circle in Jokkmokk at the 406th Sami Winter Market. Seven years ago myself, Jim and two other people from the lab went to Jokkmokk and moblogged our experience. We received tons of comments from locals telling us what we must see – and see we did! We listened to joiking, visited all the market stalls, and I even got to race reindeer.
